According to the St. Paul Pioneer-Press, Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb will be a "plausible" option at quarterback for the Vikings in 2010. McNabb will be a free agent after the 2010 season, and has thus far given no inclination that he will stay with the Redskins. Where he ends up in 2011 will surely depend on how he performs this year. Oh man, I have been wanting this since i heard it at the beginning of the off-season...get T-jack outta there and get Mcnabb, great plan.
jeez one game into the season and vikings are already lookin for a replacment....... did favre really do that bad? lol
Favre said that "this is it" since his contract is up after 2010. He is "super duper serial" that he'll hang them up after the season.....lol The Pioneer-Press was going over the likes of McNabb...Kerry Collins & Matt Hasselback as options to replace Favre and naming McNabb the most "plausible" of the three.
They should have got him for this season. I may not like McNabb, but he's still probably better than half the guys in the league. Banking everything on one more possible season w/ Farve was stupid.
Vikes should just draft a QB high in the draft. Enough with these stopgaps. They've had no long-term solution since they dumped Culpepper.
