Texans second-year defensive end Connor Barwin will miss the remainder of the 2010 season, reports John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports. Barwin fractured his right ankle when teammate Antonio Smith fell on him during a first quarter running play in the Texans' 34-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts. A second-round pick (46th overall) out of Cincinnati in 2009, the 6-4, 253-pound Barwin had just 18 tackles in a reserve role as a rookie, but that includes 4.5 quarterback sacks. Barwin also had 8 hits on opposing quarterbacks, and the Texans were counting on him to play a pass-rushing role in 2010.

I was listening on the radio when it happened and they saying how the trainers were standing around him with towels to block the cameras.

during the play you could see Smith just crush him and his leg/ankle buckel. At first I thought it was Mario because of his size and you could only see #9?. You know how us Texan fans expect the worst :( I'm just hoping he can rehab and be ready for next season ,Barwin is a beast!
