The Oakland Raiders have re-signed offensive tackle Erik Pears. He was released last week when the Raiders signed defensive tackle Jay Alford. Pears should resume his competition with Khalif Barnes at "swing" tackle. Pears said he worked out for the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday. Source: Jerry McDonald, Oakland Tribune
The offensive line was horrible. they need some serious help. i personally don't think Veldheer belongs at center. yeah he's a rookie, but the guy looked lost. i think he needs to be at tackle.
We have the worst OL in the league not one of these guys would start on any other team... Re-Signing Pears is a joke..... If Al ever gets around to addressing the OL we might start winning some games....:
we need some olineman fast or this season is going down the tubes, we are going to need a new quarterback by mid season because they are not going to last if they keep getting hammered.
