Vikings Ready To Make An Offer For Chargers WR Vincent Jackson

Discussion in 'Minnesota Vikings' started by BigBlueBruiser, Sep 16, 2010.

  1. According to Fox Sports' John Czarnecki (via Lee Hamilton), the Vikings are ready to offer a "high pick" if an arbiter rules on Thursday that Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson will not have to serve a second three-game suspension at the conclusion of the one he is currently serving. Most believe he will not be banned beyond the first three weeks of the season. If that indeed ends up being the case, Czarnecki believes the Rams will also make another play for the Chargers' disgruntled wideout.

  4. Yes...after week two.

The hearing is whether he'll serve his additional three game suspension issued by the Chargers for not signing his tender by their deadline.

and it's games not weeks, so vikings bye week does not count as a suspended week should he go to the vikings.
