Black Eyed Peas Reportedly To Play Halftime At Super Bowl XLV

Super Bowl Sunday is going to be a good, good night for the Black Eyed Peas. The hip-hop/dance group has been announced as the Super Bowl halftime performers at Cowboys Stadium on Feb. 6, 2011, according to Sports By Brooks. The group, made up rappers of will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie, has had tremendous music success over the past few years. Their 2009 album, "The E.N.D." featured three songs that rose to No. 1 on the Billboard hot 100: "Boom Boom Pow", "I Gotta Feeling" and "Imma Be". Since 2005, the Black Eyed Peas have won six Grammy Awards, winning four years for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group.

I'd rather watch the spirit of Elvis or an impersonator for that matter than the Black Eyed Peas. :icon_cool:

 

I love R & B and hip hop but I hate the Black Eyed Peas...bring back Prince damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stupid..they're just as bad a Bieber..I swear these halftime shows have been nothing short of Lame.

This. As much as I'm not a fan of the Black Eyed Peas, they'll probably be an improvement over the past it, old rockers that we've been treated to since boobgate.

 

I thought Tom Petty performing at Super Bowl 42 was awesome.....eace:

Not a fan by any stretch but I've been subjected to at least 3 live shows where they sounded like crap.

A studio sound that just doesn't cut it outside the sound stage cocoon.

Not a big deal since I leave the room for halftime cuz it's worthless nowadays...

 

They are freaking horrible. They are a corporate created, media driven, tramps who do the same show for every big event. Should fit right in with the Superbowl crowd.
