Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says he still believes in the combination of Wade Phillips as head coach and Jason Garrett as offensive coordinator. Jones emphasized Thursday that Dallas winning two division titles in three years under those coaches trumps them having flubbed a critical play in the season-opening loss at Washington. Jones also made it clear that Phillips is in charge, saying, “Wade can call anything he wants to out there, or stop any call.†Questions persist about the relationship between the coaches and the club’s chain of command because Jones hired Garrett before hiring Phillips. Garrett also is among the highest-paid assistant coaches at $3 million per season. Source: Yahoo! Sports
