Raiders Release WR Johnathan Holland And SS Stevie Brown

    Jerry McDonald reports via Twitter that the Oakland Raiders have released wide receiver Johnathan Holland and strong safety Stevie Brown. Holland had been on the injured reserve list after suffering an ankle injury early in camp. Brown was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft with the 251st pick overall.

    that sucks about Brown, he looked pretty good in preseason and on special teams coverage.
