Free safety Kareem Moore is expected to return for the Washington Redskins for Sunday’s game at St. Louis and he’s in the nick of time after Matt Schaub rallied the Houston Texans to a win at FedEx Field last week, shredding the secondary. Moore was one of the top performers during the offseason and in training camp for the Redskins, but was forced out by arthroscopic knee surgery on Aug. 23. He’s returned a little more quickly than some expected, and he should be good to go, paired with LaRon Landry, who has had a fine start to his season playing in the box. Moore will give the Redskins more athleticism than they’ve gotten from Reed Doughty and as Rick Maese of the Washington Post reports, it should give defensive coordinator Jim Haslett a better chance to disguise some of the things he’s doing. Certainly the range Moore provides will be a benefit. “All day and night, it's killing me," Moore said. "I just want to go out there and play, get out there with the guys." Said Landry: "People want to talk about what me and Sean (Taylor) would have done, how we played. I think me and Kareem can do some stuff out there. I think we can make some stuff happen."
