With some wondering whether Buffalo will deal running back Marshawn Lynch, the Bills have been dangling quarterback Trent Edwards, according to a league source. The Bills spoke to at least one team this week about a trade for the quarterback they benched in favor of Ryan Fitzpatrick. It is not the first time Edwards' name has come up in trade talks after Buffalo debated dealing him during the offseason, before it opened up the quarterback competition that Edwards eventually won. In two games, Edwards went a combined 29 of 42 for 241 yards passing with a touchdown and two interceptions. This marks the second time Edwards has been benched after being replaced by Fitzpatrick midway through last year. Source: ESPN.com
Maybe if they shopped Lynch they would get someone to bite but no one in there right mind would give up anything for Edwards.
haha. trent edwards? actually, someone may give a late pick for him just to have a 2nd or 3rd string qb with starting experience. a lot of coaches like to have multiple guys with starting experience instead of developing someone.
What a cluster heck in Buffalo. That team is such a mess. What happened to this once proud franchise? It's been painful for over a decade now.
LETS SEE THATS TWO COACHES THAT HAVE BENCHED THIS GUY,GIVE HIM A PLANE TICKET OUT OF BUFFALO.I CANT BELEIVE A TEAM WOULD PART WITH ANTTHING FOR HIM...WHENS THE DRAFT,HELLO RYAN MALLET....
