Houston Texans running back Arian Foster, Indianapolis Colts defensive end Robert Mathis and Cincinnati Bengals kicker Mike Nugent have been selected as the AFC's top players for the month of September. Foster captured the offensive award after rushing for an NFL-best 406 yards with a 5.9-yard average and three touchdowns to help the Texans to a 2-1 record.
