The Giants are starting to get concerned about their starting offensive tackles, David Diehl and Kareem McKenzie. In Week Two, Diehl was punished by Colts DE Dwight Freeney in one of his worst games as a pro. And in Week Three, McKenzie uncharacteristically unraveled by committing two personal fouls and earning a spot on Tom Coughlin's bench. Shawn Andrews took McKenzie's place and is being rushed along as a tackle at both spots in case either Diehl or Andrews has another meltdown. Diehl and McKenzie have struggled to handle speed rushers, allowing several sacks and pressures the past two games, and Coughlin wants Andrews to start firing off the ball better before he has a chance to push for a starting spot. Both haved been substandard in pass protection against top speed pass rushers. I'd be very surprised if the Giants don't target a LT in the draft this year.
