This is gonna cause one hell of a backlash. Blacking out games isn't the answer in this economy. And with the Internet as advanced as it is these days, it's not hard to watch your hometown team play a game.

Will the NFL take on the internet? I would think that will be a losing battle. Should bars show webcast games? I don't know. But, the NFL has to give something back to the common fan. The ticket prices far out weigh the diehard fan's budget. I hope they (NFL) will take a step back and let us fans watch our teams and support them through tv ratings.

It's all about the money. The league has no weapon against the average joe, who is able to follow a stream on his computer or internet connected tv. All they can do, is to sue the bar owners, who providing games to fill up their bars.....

They sent cease and desist letters to 8 bars down here, $150,000 fine if they are caught showing the games.

    "Dear NFL fans:

Our ticket prices will not be going down. If you can't afford to go to the games, that's not our problem. Make more money or you don't get to see your favorite team play.

    Sincerely, the NFL.

    P.S. Go heck yourselves."
