49ers SS Michael Lewis Asks For His Release

Discussion in 'San Francisco 49ers' started by BigBlueBruiser, Oct 1, 2010.

  1. Strong Safety Michael Lewis has asked the 49ers for his release, according to the Sacramento Bee's Matt Barrows. The 49ers have not granted his request. He's been passed by Taylor Mays on the depth chart and is not happy about it. Lewis has been benched for struggling in run support, and San Francisco can go young at the position with Mays and Reggie Smith.

lewis has been blowing this year......... he should be giving back the money he's earned so far and working his butt off to get better instead of asking for his release.
