Those deficiencies may be true, but before this became a passing league, the old formula was run the ball and stop the run. The Chiefs are doing both and damned well. If we make the playoffs, I don't think we'll win because of our problems throwing it, but with our schedule, it's looking good.

yep, i think the chiefs have to be considered the only team in the afcw that can dethrone the chargers.

the broncos can't do anything except pass the ball. the raiders just can't seem to figure out how to win. and the chiefs schedule IS very favorable. if the chargers fail to kick it into gear in November like they usually do, the chiefs could win that division.

    BULLLLLLLLCRAP

everyone was WAYYYYY down on the steelers this year, i heard alot of top 10 pick talk and rebuilding stage

teams are gonna be seriously concerned about playing the steelers if the d keeps up this pace, and if the offense improves as much as it should with ben they should be a big time playoff contender late in the season....if the steelers go 4-0 this week they take a stranglehold on the divison pretty early, i remembe people talking 3rd place in the afc north at best

where did you hear top 10 talk? the worst i heard about the steelers is that the division was going to be so tough with the ravens and bengals both being good also, so they may miss the playoffs. but i heard a lot of people picking the steelers to win the afcn and quite a few predicting a SB victory....... never heard one person predicting a collapse .... :icon_confused:

everyone was real down on the steelers, i mean once ben got suspended and stuff and after last years defense no one should have been high on them so it was justified.

no one expected 3-0 in a dominate fashion either though

Like K Train said, not true. EVERYONE was down on the Steelers seeing them come out with 6-7 wins at best...no Ben, defense too old, O-Line still bad, no Santonio Holmes - I mean to most people, the pass game was in the tank, questions about Mendenhall.

    This too...^^

i dont know anyone that said the steelers D would be bad this year.... who really won these last few years of games, playoff games, and superbowl championships? .... ya the steeler D.

big ben does what he has to do to. hes made some great freaking plays.... in my opionion D still wins championships. steelers D is what its about. when i saw the scheduel i was like oh cool big ben gets to come back to a team atleast 3-1..... ya you know it.

    Crowned Doesn't give a shit.

Anyone who watched every Steeler game last season would question this defense, they blew every 4th quarter lead they could. Ben was good last season it and it will continue this year. The return of Troy Polamalu and Aaron Smith, plus the emergence of Lawrence Timmons has this defense looking sick right now.

I can tell you that my list is Steelers, Bears, Chiefs.

And I thought we would be at best 2-2 without Ben with tough games against the Titans and Ravens. Sitting at 3-0 with the worst we can be is 3-1 is amazing, especially since we played 2 games with our 4th String QB who was going to be cut if Leftwich didn't get injurred.
