The New England Patriots have cut running back Javarris James from the practice squad, the team announced. A former University of Miami player, James signed with the Indianapolis Colts in April after going undrafted. Cut by the Colts on Sept. 4, the 6-foot, 215-pounder was signed by the Patriots to the practice squad two days later. The Patriots have seven players on their practice squad currently, so they can add one player.
