The Carolina Panthers cut Dwayne Jarrett according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Jarrett was a former second-round pick of the Panthers in the 2007 NFL draft. This morning he was arrested for a DUI, his second one. According to Steve Reed of the Gaston Gazette, in a statement released by the Panthers, GM Marty Hurney said, "I talked to Dwayne and told him the situation here. It is just not working out for either side. We had a chance to pick up off waivers a receiver we considering claiming when he became available four weeks ago. We wish Dwayne the best." not a big shocker that he got released. He never really developed into a great player. and if he is getting DUI's as a NFL player that isnt good. THat isnt good for anyone but especially for NFL players that get more attention on them then a normal person
