The Rams' biggest playmaker is down on the field, and the early scene doesn't look positive. Mark Clayton was carted off the field after suffering what appears to be a right knee injury while running a sideline route during the first quarter. Rams trainers were cfreaking Clayton's right leg while he was down on the field, and placed an immobilizing brace on the leg. It doesn't look good for Clayton to return. It's a tough loss for the Rams, who lost leading receiver Donnie Avery during the preseason and acquired Clayton from the Ravens. Source: NFL.com
Tough break for the Rams.....Clayton was on a tear through the first four games. Rams are now back at square one at the receiver position.
