Despite the NYJs best efforts to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory Favre was able to trump them in screw ups.

I have to say I wasn't particularly impressed with the Jets inability to finish, Minnesota's D played lights out but still Favre gift wrapped that game for them and Minnesota's whole O basically spotted them 2 quarters of football and still they needed a last minute Favre interception (right after he missed a wide open receiver) to put it away. A W is a W but this one was hardly decisive.
