Redskins Want To Find More Ways To Get WR Anthony Armstrong The Ball

Discussion in 'Washington Redskins' started by BigBlueBruiser, Oct 16, 2010.

  1. The Redskins want to find more ways to get the ball in the hands of WR Anthony Armstrong, who is averaging nearly 27 yards a catch but has only seven receptions. They love his tenacity and his drive, even if he's still a bit raw. Armstrong might not be completely polished in his first full NFL season, but his speed has caught opponents who had thought that Santana Moss was the team's only deep threat off guard.

Yeah Cooley will get more touches than anyone else playing with McNabb, but Armstrong has shown something no one knew was there before the season. I hope he keeps stepping it up because I picked him up and I need WR help.

Armstrong's got the potential to be their big play guy. They just need to get him more opportunities. He made a couple great plays last week one that didn't count when he caught the ball out of bounds but it was a hell of a catch.
