The NFLPlayers Association have officially launched NFLLockout.com, which features an online petition to "Block the Lockout." Their goal is to utilize this petition to show NFL owners that fans really do care about preventing a lockout. In short, they want fans to know that they can do something about it. The site will update fans and media on important labor issues while educating them on the real possibility of a lockout and the reasons why NFL owners are steering things toward a lockout. The petition will live primarily at NFLLockout.com and eventually on NFL Lockout | Facebook. Twitter users can get immediate updates by following NFL Lockout (NFLLockout) on Twitter. This is rapidly becoming a reality and as fans this is giving us a voice, a very large voice to tell the powers that be that we are with the players and a lockout isn't a good thing for fans and players alike. The NFLPA is making sure that we fans are involved and that we stay educated on the lockout something that I don't see the NFL owners doing.
