Vince Young takes great pride in his mobility and his ability to make plays outside the pocket. Right now, Young is not very mobile. The Titans quarterback was still too sore to practice on Thursday, and his chances of recovering from knee and ankle sprains in time for Sunday's game against the Eagles looked bad. "It is day-to-day still, and making that decision on Sunday,'' said Young, who walked slowly and whose mood was somewhat somber. "I just want to continue to keep treating it and see how it feels. But I am getting better every day.'' Backup quarterback Kerry Collins, meanwhile, practiced after sitting out Wednesday with a finger injury on his throwing hand, and all signs pointed to him starting against the Eagles. Don't be so quick to knock Collins...he lead the Titans to a 10-0 start two seasons ago. He can still come off the bench and get it done...just like he did on Monday Night.
I was being sarcastic about Vince Young. You don't have to tell me about Kerry Collins being an effective back-up.
collins looked pretty good last week and is one of the better back-ups in the league. the titans may be o.k. with this.
