The Chicago Bears host the Washington Redskins at Soldier Field on Sunday 10/24/10. Kickoff time is 1:00 pm EST Discuss….
The Bears have to go into their bye week (week 8) on a high note. Seeing the Bears are playing a team thats last in the league in total defense, they should have no problem moving the ball, the keyword being SHOULD. However though, the o-line has to protect Cutler MUCH BETTER than they have all season long. If the play calling isn't 50-50 in this game like Lovie Dovie claims it's going to be, i'll settle for 60-40 but no less than that. No more of this 80-20 bullcrap.
Don't let that fool you. They are 14th in points per game and 11 in sacks. I see a defensive battle on both sides and a close game that comes down to the wire.
I've already said the key to the Bears on offense this week. Now onto the defense. They need to be ready to play this week. They got pushed around way too much by the Seahawks. Now, which McNabb will show up? The McNabb thats capable of lighting up any team on any given day or the McNabb that can be rattled? I prefer the second option but that does mean the Bears defense has to getting to him.
interesting game. both teams are still unknowns. the bears need to stop the bleeding and the skins need to continue finding ways to win to stay in a competitive nfce race.
Man we suck.. Luckily the D is creating a crazy amount of turnovers though to keep us close each week.
The Bears had their chances... When you turn the ball over 6 times and 2 of those turnovers take away 14 points, (i'm referring to that Cutler fumble near the end zone and that DeAngelo Hall pick 6) you will not win the game. Thanks for making an overrated bum like DeAngelo Hall look like an all pro today. :icon_rolleyes:
