Cowboys QB Tony Romo Suffers Broken Clavicle Vs. Giants

Discussion in 'Dallas Cowboys' started by BigBlueBruiser, Oct 25, 2010.

  1. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo left Monday night's game against the New York Giants in the second quarter with a fractured left clavicle and he will not return. Romo was hurt with 12:07 to play in the second quarter after completing a pass to wide receiver Miles Austin. Romo was hit by Giants weakside linebacker Michael Boley, who came on a blitz. Romo's left shoulder crashed to the turf as Boley tackled him to the ground. If Romo misses any extended period of time, it will be the first time since the 2008 season when he suffered a broken pinkie and missed three games.

Had more to do with Gronkowski than any single Giant.

  3. Adam Schefter just reported that Romo could be out 8-10 weeks.

  6. Basically...it's his collarbone. He's done for the year most likely.

Depends on where the break is according to Torico. If it's closer to the shoulder, the less time he'll miss. The closer to the neck is the more time. He could be out as little as 6 or as long as 12. Regardless, it's significant time...

LOL @ Giants fans bragging about a sack they got because our FB doesnt know what the heck he is doing

That Sack should get credited to Jerry Jones, for cutting the guy that would have sent Boley to his ass

  15. Wade better not expect to get a mulligan this year though......

that 8-10 weeks is a best case scenario. if it does become closer to 10, they should jsut shut him down. you never wish anything bad like that on anyone. But i did ask that the Giants take out Romo in that Desean jackson hit thread.

    :shrugs:

But of course all new york fans are classless according to Cowboy fans.
