Cowboys Coach Wade Phillips Won't Expand RB Tashard Choice's Role

When asked why Cowboys third back Tashard Choice wouldn’t get a chance to play more, coach Wade Phillips said of Felix Jones and Marion Barber, “There are two other guys I think are running hard. We’ve got to block better for them. We’ve got to execute the plays better. Those guys are running hard. I don't have a problem with the way they're running.â€￾ Jones currently ranks 38th in the NFL with an average of 44 yards per game. Barber ranks 51st with 30.2 a game. Combined, their 74.2 yards per game would rank them only 16th in the league. But they’re running hard.

Well how could he? Seems like they hardly run the ball to begin with and there are two better backs in front of Choice.
