Bengals CB Adam Jones Out For The Season With Neck Injury

Discussion in 'Cincinnati Bengals' started by BigBlueBruiser, Oct 26, 2010.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones will miss the rest of the season because of a neck injury, a league source said Tuesday. The team later announced that it had placed Jones on injured reserve and switched tight ends, signing free agent J.P. Foschi and waiving Daniel Coats. Jones, a fourth-year pro with a history of off-the-field trouble, received a second chance from the Bengals in May when they signed him to a two-year contract. This season, Jones was making an impact in the Bengals' secondary. Last Sunday, he scored a touchdown after forcing a fumble in the Bengals' wild 39-32 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
