Antrel Rolle is so confident in what's going on with the alone-in-first-place Giants that Tuesday on his weekly WFAN radio spot he said, "I don't think, I know it, we are the best team in the NFC. Hey, we are the best team in the NFL and that's hands down.'' Funny how four-game winning streaks prompt players to make such proclamations. Rolle wasn't operating on much sleep after the return flight home from Dallas after Monday night's wild 41-35 victory over the Cowboys but he certainly sounded clear-headed as he lauded his own team and did not back away from making strong and bold statements. "Our defense is the best defense in the business, no doubt about it,'' Rolle added. Time will tell if Rolle is accurate in his assessments, but there's no doubt the Giants are on a roll entering their bye week. At 5-2, they are a game ahead of the Eagles and Redskins (both 4-3) in the NFC East and buried the Cowboys (1-5) not only by beating them but also beating them up, putting Tony Romo out at least 6-8 weeks with a fractured left collarbone. they are 1 of the most inconsistent teams in the league. they were like that in their run 4 the SB a couple years ago 2. maybe that is good 4 them.
This isn't last year.....funny you used the same final score from the Giants-Eagles game around the same time last season. Seattle is no way capable of putting up that much against our defense.
Didn't you know that JJ is a closeted Eagles fan? He knows the Eagles are going to woop the Giants' colective butt yet again.

right this minute, if the playoffs started tomorrow, could anyone really argue against the Giants being the best team? Their D-line is phenomenal, which makes the rest of the defense look great. They have a great o-line, great WR's, great RB's, and a good QB. They can match-up with anyone right now. We're still a long way from January though and we've seen this same Giants team play some crapty ball so let's just see what happens ............
Not with that crapty Eagles defense and horrible offensive line. The Giants are best team int he NFC, not the NFL. They have work to do, like eliminating the turnovers and covering people on special teams
Rolle has more credibility than Raheem Morris's and Chris Johnson's comments proclaiming their teams the class of the NFL, and I am sure the ultra confident (and big mouthed) Rolle believes it.... Right now, I'd say it's more within the top couple of teams in the NFC (probably close to 1 if not 1), and within the top 5 in the NFL, even higher if they could avoid the costly mistakes (like tipped passes to defenders).
why does rolle have more credibility than the others?? he's just another idiot that flaps his gums .............. and, as far as being the best in the league, i would say any of the top 5 teams are capable of beating one another on any given day, so to proclaim the Giants are the best or may be the best is not ludicrous............ the Bucs or Raiders being the best IS ludicrous but keep in mind that Johnson didn't say the Raiders were the BEST team in the NFL.......... he said they were the most TALENTED, which is a big difference. Morris said the Bucs are the best, which IS ludicrous.
The problem is Eli can't seem to go a game without throwing a stupid pick. I know he's had a lot of tipped picks, but that's still his fault because the throws are too high. If he would turn it up just a notch, this team could go on a huge roll.
