Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Dexter McCluster participated in practice Wednesday, but was held out of drills that required the explosive combo-back to run or cut, according to Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star. McCluster injured his ankle Sunday during the Chiefs’ 42-20 blowout victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was in a walking boot and using crutches Monday and Tuesday, but was seen in practice without either Wednesday. Chiefs coach Todd Haley wouldn’t comment on the rookie’s injury but acknowledged that getting McCluster more involved in Kansas City’s offense last week was a priority. “He had some carries, which I was excited about,†Haley said. “That’s something that I really wanted to see happen. When you have some real good running backs, like we do, somebody with maybe some different abilities can get lost in the shuffle.†Source: Football News Now
it's a high ankle sprain. he will be out a while. get used to it, though, chiefs fans ............. dude weighs 150 pounds dripping wet ......... he's going to be injured a lot and won't last long in this league. at some point, he's probably going to be broken in half by some 250 pound linebacker as he's coming over the middle .................. have there ever been intestines laying on an nfl field in the middle of the game?
i'm a fan of no nfl team. the site makes you choose a team for your user info. i AM a fan of warcry though. :icon_cheesygrin:
