Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has been fined $7,500 by the National Football League, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports. Haynesworth's fine stems from a blind-side block of Chicago Bears rookie right tackle J'Marcus Webb during DeAngelo Hall's 92-yard interception return for a touchdown on Sunday. Webb was flagged for a personal foul after the play. Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan is prepared to defend Haynesworth's block to the league, provided he sees it first. "A lot of times, I've gone to bat for players in those situations and determine what's in the best interests, if you've got a chance to win it or if you don't," Shanahan said via Jason Reid of the Washington Post. "I've got to look at it first. And if it is, we'll determine it. I've done that before. I've won. I've lost. So you never know." Source: Mac's Football Blog
dude you are stupid,,, Really out the dog house? Albert will never be out of trouble, i tried to keep my mouth crap about this albert drama soap opera, Bottom line is he doesnt want to play Football any longer, He QUIT, the trend is players sign, get paid, and QUIT.... that is all there is to it... Oh and one more thing, i know im right..
Keep personal attacks in the fight club please. No need to incite a flame war in a discussion thread. I agree though. Haynesworth got his money and went downhill. The Titans knew it would happen and let him become someone else's problem with a monstrous price tag.
I'm not expecting it to happen but if he keeps playing like he did last week he will come close to earning that money.
