The Detroit Lions will have their first TV blackout of the season when the host the Washington Redskins on Sunday. The game will not air in the local TV market because the Lions failed to sell out the game by Thursday's 1 p.m. ET deadline. NFL rules prohibit games from airing in the local market if they don't sell out 72 hours before kickoff. The Lions, 1-5, had four blackouts last season. Their blackout on Sunday will increase the NFL-wide total this year to at least 11, with several other teams -- including Oakland and San Diego -- at risk of a blackout this week.

I find this funny, this is the team that ended their epic losing streak last season

And they've been in every game this year. And Stafford is coming back. I'm at least a little surprised.

Don't worry. Lions will probably have multiple opportunities to win this game, but somehow those Redskin heckers will pull another win out of their butt.

It sure beats finding ways to lose every week like in the past!
