Broncos Coach Josh McDaniels' Job Safe Through 2011

  1. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos are scheduled to pay current head coach Josh McDaniels through 2012, ex-coach and current Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan through 2011. Schefter writes that there's no way that owner Pat Bowlen pays three head coaches in 2011, so McDaniels' job is safe.

I think he's going to be a good coach eventually, but don't know if the Broncos will give him the time to get it done.

Look at it this way. Bill Belichick was not successful in his first head coaching gig in Cleveland.

It looks like McDaniels could also leave is some college offers him a job.
