Browns coach Eric Mangini still hasn't picked a starting quarterback. Mangini has not committed to a starter for Sunday's game against New England. Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace are not practicing Monday as they recover from high ankle sprains. Mangini hopes both will return Wednesday. He said Wallace is further along than Delhomme, who sprained his ankle in the season opener and re-injured it Oct. 10.

Why are we even talking Delhomme, no reason he should be put in anymore. Stay on the sidelines and help the others grow. Please.

Not this bullcrap again. God Mangina tries to act all smart and coy but he looks more like a goobered butthole.

HOw many games that he was head coach, other then the Favre year when he had no choice, has Mangini actually committed to a quarterback? He is ridiculous.

That's cause he is a goobered butthole. Hope they play Delhomme. You talk about worthless, and he's still in the NFL because...........?

The mentioning of Delhomme reminded me of something.

There's a newspaper sports columnist named Randy Galloway who works for the Fort Worth Star Telegram. When Delhomme played for Carolina, Galloway would go on and on about him. He had such a man crush on Delhomme, it reminded me of Madden and Favre.

How many games, other than Favre, has he had a quarterback worth committing too? Quinn wasn't even active last week in Denver. Anderson has been benched multiple times in Arizona and threw a game killing INT (while they were already in tying FG range) last week. I don't feel like going back and looking up Clemens vs. Pennington, but neither one seems like they were "the answer" to a franchise.
Delhomme is beyond done. I was holding out hope that it was just one bad year, but he's toast. Wallace is a good guy to have on the roster and I've stated that I'd be fine if he started all year. But, his passes over 15 yards down the sideline are always out of bounds. McCoy is an unknown at this point. No reason not to play him from here on out.

Wallace is a decent back up, but for him to be the starter, you aren't loaded at QB. He's the best you got right now.

Wallace is decent, not amazing. He would do well if he had a roster like they do in Minnesota to help him, but can't really create too much on his own.
