As you know from last week, this power ranking is generated utilizing the strength of victory, strength of loss as well as points difference. What makes this so great is that there is absolutely no NFC East bias whatsoever! Horray! This week produced a new leader with the Steelers loss, despite their dominance at the top last week:
yep, i don't understand the giants being at #11. that makes no sense. however, i just did my rankings and the colts are now #1 in mine also .................. :icon_cheesygrin:
these formulas factor 'quality wins' very strongly and the colts have quality wins now against the chiefs, giants, and texans. **********Automerged Doublepost********** oh, ok. i understand. (but i still don't understand why sagarin has the giants so low)
Giants have an adjusted win strength of .400 and point difference of 3.1, that's why they are so low. However, I can understand to an extent why there is some confusion which is why I am always looking at adjustments to the formula (Which at this moment, I am doing). The NFC East comment was in jest, but obviously it rubbed some the wrong way.
Well my balls have certainly been busted ;) And I'm happy you did, I found a flaw in my formula (Well, the formula isn't flawed, but it didn't fulfil what I wanted. New results will be posted soon.
My Pats are too high. 5-6 is about right. We are a developing project, that is very promising, but not there, yet.
