The Cowboys' lost season reached a new low point in Sunday night's 45-7 pasting by the Green Bay Packers, and Dallas owner Jerry Jones is starting to sound like a man ready to do something about it. Jones spoke to reporters after the Cowboys' fifth-straight loss dropped his team to 1-7, making it clear changes could be around the corner in Big D. "There are a lot of people that certainly are going to suffer and suffer consequences," Jones said. NFL Network insider Albert Breer reports that Jones plans to meet with the coaching staff Monday afternoon, according to a league source. The meeting is not part of their Monday routine, according to the source. Jones didn't make any direct references to the job security of coach Wade Phillips. Source: NFL.com
Dont know whats going on but when ya go to the official website its not there wonder whats going on yo......i heard on dan patrick that he is meeting with players as i type......
Same thing here man....either something is wrong with their server or something major may be brewing.
yup iagree man i just think that JJ kinda knew we would lose BUT not this fashion the team IMO has just QUIT on almost all levels and some players true colors are shown as i said before we have good players even some great ones but no LEADERSHIP
You could take this as a clue regarding Wade's fate later today....Cowboys' press conference is at 4:00 CT. http://gridironfans.com/forums/latest-nfl-headlines/145251-cowboys-coach-wade-phillips-not-valley-ranch.html
Roy said Wade left in Jerry's plane following the game.....they must had a conversation of some sort. Just a guess.....Wade could've handed his resignation there and will announce it at his press conference today. That may also explain his absence at Valley Ranch.
Jerry told that dude on the plane, resign or else! bahaha. had to be what it is. I just wish Garrett's SUV wouldnt be there either. lol.
They will end up giving Garrett the interim job and he will have the deer in headlights look. That team already gave up. You could see it all game long. Cut Jenkins and scandrick and tell Brady James to pack it up too. I've also never seen as many missed blitz pickups that the cowboys running backs have missed n **********Automerged Doublepost********** Phillips is fired. Garrett is in **********Automerged Doublepost********** Its official
Press conferene at 4pm **********Automerged Doublepost********** Well as of right now, Garrett is now their head coach.
I'm not sure Garrett is an upgrade. His offense has been a major problem and he seems to have gotten worse at OC for the last few years.
