Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens caught 10 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns during a 27-21 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night. He's now ranked second in the AFC with 55 catches, 770 yards and seven touchdowns, one year removed from a 55-catch, 829-yard, five touchdown season in Buffalo. "In those situations, you just have to take what the defense gives you," Owens said after the game. "Obviously, we were trying to get an idea of what they were doing out there and, when those matchups come about, you try to exploit them. I’m no stranger to bump-and-run. "I’ve been watching film of those guys all week, and I’ve played against them before on other teams. They’re an aggressive defense, and I think we got them when we had the opportunities to.â€￾ And Owens' big season could earn him as much as $4 million if he triggers all of his incentives. He's currently on a pace for 110 receptions, 1,540 yards and 14 touchdowns. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Owens is on pace to hit all of his incentives for performance.

I'm happy he's proving all the crying Eagles/Cowboys fans wrong about him being washed up, even if the double teams on Ocho Cinco are helping him out.

    Crowned Doesn't give a shit.

Bengals aren't going to make the playoffs, Maybe the Bengals organization will encourage Palmer to slow down on throws toward T.O.

not sure what's worse, you being so worried about better fans being proven wrong or you contradicting yourself in the same setence.

t.o. is tearing it up. no doubt............ still wouldn't give him a long term deal with any guaranteed money cuz he can go south at any moment.

Because I have a dislike of the general NFC East fan, typically ignorant of what's going on outside of the division, their unshaken hatred toward the other three teams and the blinding homerism. That's why I'm worried about them proven wrong, and if those attributes make someone a better fan, then they certainly are the best fans in the world!

Yeah I did contradict myself, for good reason to, because I knew someone would mention the double teams on the other sides that are helping to contribute his return to form (But as we all know, having a double team doesn't always make the guy better, Carolina with the revolving door at the second receiver position is a perfect example of this)

I still dont see why people think we made a mistake letting him go

It would only be 1,000 times worse right now if he were still here

The mistake weren't letting him go, it was who you got (and what you spent) to replace him.

Good for him...he's on fire. Don't think it is a surprise he is out performing Chad.

dude, i'm from the midwest too and concur that 'some' in the northeast have no clue what's going on in the rest of the country (many of them have trouble identifying other U.S. locations on a map, don't stay informed on the other sports clubs around the country, etc.).

however, you're taking this to a whole new level of anger. simmer down. you'll live longer.

as far as the imprint that T.O. left on the NFC East, it is understandable why the fans of those teams have no respect for him. he ended up turning on those teams and their fans. it's natural for someone to not feel a lot of respect for someone that turned their back on them and their team.

yeah andy, if anything nfc east fans have little knowledge of anything outside of their own division.

talk about a ignorant opinion on a galatic level.

i deal with people from the midwest on a daily basis and a some of them couldn't tell you what team a player is on outside of their own squad. most of them swear mark mcguire didn't take PED's either.
