With Jimmy Clausen suffering a concussion last week, and only one other QB on the 53-man roster, the Panthers are expected to promote QB Brian St. Pierre from the practice squad. St. Pierre, who'll turn 31 in a week and a half, was brought in last Friday after QB Matt Moore was placed on injured reserve. If Clausen isn't cleared, sixth-round rookie Tony Pike would be the starter by default, since he's the only other one available. This is St. Pierre's eighth year in the NFL, but he's only played in two games and thrown five passes. The former fifth-round pick from Boston College has spent time with Arizona, Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Source: Rock Hill Herald
:icon_eek: Who? Pike and St. Pierre? You talk about two nobodies. Good thing it's the Panthers, since the season is already done.
