The Denver Broncos have released linebacker Jarvis Moss, head coach Josh McDaniels announced on Wednesday morning. Drafted with the 17th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the 6-6, 257-pound defensive end from the University of Florida has 29 tackles and 3.5 quarterback sacks in 34 games, with much of his production coming during his first two seasons in the NFL. Since moving to outside linebacker in 2009, Moss has five tackles in 16 games. Moss has one season remaining on a five-year, $14.95 million contract that included over $8 million in guaranteed money.
