in a ppr league with 6pts for td's 1 pt every 10 rush rec yds and 1 pt ppr would you start keiland williams for washington against minnesota or thomas jones for the chiefs against seattle
In a ppr, I may start Keiland, he probably will get at least 4 catches along with his rushing yards. Plus he won't split many carries at all this week.
thanks crowned this question is for a guy a work with he's been hounding me all weekend on this i told him the same
Williams. Jones and Charles will split time. Williams should get the bulk of the work on all downs with maybe James Davis spelling him here and there. You probably won't get much scoring out of Williams so you have to hope he gets a few receptions and some yardage. THe Vikings have allowed 6 rushing TD's. 3 coming against New England.
Jones might be sharing time but he still has over twice as many TD's as Charles (in the number one rush offense in the league) and more carries. I'd go with the proven scorer vs. the weaker D over the new guy (in a passing offense) vs. Minnesotas Dline.
The problem with Jones is that he gets out rushed by Charles by about 20-25 yards per game and is almost non-existent in the pass game. Williams could excel there and because it's a PPR league, it really hurts Jones' value. Between Jones and Charles, they only have 8 touchdowns (5-Jones, 3-Charles.) Less than impressive for a team that is as run oriented as the Chiefs. Williams has 5 TD's himself for the Redskins in a pass oriented offense. (Torain has 4.)
