The Carolina Panthers have the worst record in the league, and one of the league’s toughest remaining schedules and that means like it or not, the focus the rest of this season will be on how wins and losses impact draft position next spring. And draft position means Andrew Luck, the Stanford quarterback is this year’s plum, the young passer franchises can build themselves around. Even though they used a second-round pick on Jimmy Clausen, who has provided positive results in his past two starts (both losses), the consensus in the scouting community is that Luck is a player you simply can’t pass on. One scout who has watched all of the redshirt sophomore’s games said that unlike every other quarterback of recent memory, he can’t figure out what the knock will be on Luck. Strong, tall, smart and tough, he seems to be the player most teams will target. “He’s just that good,†the scout said. Source: Charlotte Observer
You CANT pass on him? Really? Even if it costs you an extra 2nd to pick him there because you're throwing away Clausen (presumably)? Not a believer in that at all..
wasnt there some kid from washington that was a no doubt first round pick last year? what was luck doing last year when the washington kid turned down all that money he could have made
Im assuming you are talking about Locker, but Im not sure what you are trying to say otherwise. Luck wasn't eligible last year.
Panthers can't go wrong with Luck. >>> Clausen. I'd actually like to see the Bills get in there and get him, but I think they are "too good." lol...
Clausen can barely throw for over 100 yards....he's a slap in the face to Carolina....and this is coming from a Falcons' fan
