The Patriots announced today quarterback Tom Brady was selected the AFC offensive player of the week after he threw four touchdowns and recorded a perfect passer rating (158.3) in a 45-24 victory against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. Brady completed 21 of 27 passes for 341 yards in the victory. It is the 16th time in Brady's career that he has received the honor. He is the second Patriot this season to be recognized with a player of the week honor. This season, Brady has completed 66.3 percent of his passes (236 of 356) for 2,703 yards and has 23 touchdowns.
