Time and again rookie Jacoby Ford has proven himself a valuable commodity to the Oakland Raiders. Now, 11 games into the season, the wide receiver could be getting his biggest opportunity yet. Ford is rumored to be overtaking Darrius Heyward-Bey in the starting lineup. “I don’t know that,†head coach Tom Cable said Friday when asked whether DHB would be in the starting 11 on offense. “We’ll get to all that as we know the health here.†Although unlikely, there is also a chance the Raiders receiving corps will include Chaz Schilens for the first time this season. The oft-injured, third-year player was able to practice on three consecutive days this week–a first since 2009. Source: Football News Now
