After taking a helmet-to-helmet hit from Baltimore's Jameel McClain in the third quarter on Sunday night, Steelers tight end Heath Miller laid motionless for a few minutes before walking off of the field. Miller suffered a concussion and will not return. Unfortunately, the team only has second-year FB/TE David Johnson left as a blocker at either position as TE Matt Spaeth (concussion) was listed as an inactive. The team will have to use a backup offensive lineman as a blocking tight end.

The league has already said that a flag should've been thrown on that hit. Fine probably coming for McClain next week...

That was a horrible horrible hit. Nailing a receiver who is on the ground is far worse than an accidental helmet helmet hit. He was twitching on the ground a little bit, and when I saw the replay, I thought it was going to be bad. I was very relieved when he got up.

Screw the fine, he could be out another week, and I wanted the 15 yards. Him paying the league money doesn't help me at all.

Totally cheap shot. Play was way over, and you lower the boom as a guy is going down. The angle at this was done, it's lucky Miller didn't get a broken neck. Looked like a move to take a guy out of the game.

At first I did thing it was a problem with his neck, or even worse possibly his spinal cord. He was knocked out right away and his arms locked up, scary scene and a bad cheap shot. Hopefully he passes his concussion test, we need him.

Yeah. That would be a big loss if he misses an extended period of time. Miller is a HUGE contributor to the offense...

Missing Miller and Spaeth leaves a mark...
