Patriots will have the #1 seed and playoffs will go through Gillette. FML, I just hope Steelers can grab the #2 seed and hope to god someone else knocks down the Patriots.

Almost the most prophetic post on GIF. However, one has to question just how good the Jets are instead of listening to Rex Ryan and the so-called experts. Since this was their first real test since week 2, their overwhelming failure just may be the start of the downward spiral of which the Captain speaks.
It happened in 2008 for the Jets with Brett Favre at the helm after an 8-3 start. They finished 9-7. Could very well happen again. The Jets have 2 or 3 wins against teams with winning records this season.
I read an interesting stat earlier today about how the Jets are 1-3 against teams with winning records and have been outscored something like 64-12 in those games (being held without a single touchdown) - that says a lot to me.
