Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth May Be Released This Week

Conflicting reports are emerging regarding the future of Albert Haynesworth’s future with the Washington Redskins and head coach Mike Shanahan isn’t confirming or denying any of them. Instead, the coach will remain mum on the matter until Wednesday. Monday morning Chris Russell of ESPN 980 in Washington, DC reported that there was a “75 percent chanceâ€￾ that Haynesworth would be released this week. Another ESPN employee, albeit on a national level, Adam Schefter was quick to dismiss the report, as was CSN Washington’s Kelly Johnson.
