Chiefs QB Matt Cassel Isn't At Practice Today

Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel wasn't participating today during the open period of the team's practice. The only quarterbacks working with the team are Brodie Croyle and Tyler Palko, who was promoted this morning to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Cassel wasn't in the conditioning area and wasn't seen on the sidelines of the team's indoor facility, where the Chiefs were working.

the kansas city media is reporting that cassell underwent an emergency apendectomy today and will be out for at least 4 weeks ..............

 

That's a killer, especially playing San Diego this week. Tough break fo KC.

 

The Chargers have got to be the luckiest team on the face of the planet.

 

Hence the reason Tyler Palko was activated. Sucks for the Chiefs...I still believe!!!
