So much for having Brett Favre throw some passes in practice today, the Minnesota Vikings altered that plan and the 41-year-old quarterback did not practice, raising serious questions whether or not he will keep his iron-man streak intact on Sunday when they host the New York Giants. Favre has a sprained SC joint in his right shoulder, and when reporters were allowed to watch prospect, he threw a few passes with his left arm. Coach Leslie Frazier confirmed after practice that Favre did not participate, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “He tested some things this morning in the walk-through and just didn’t didn’t feel comfortable in going much farther this afternoon," Frazier said. "We said, "Hey, we’ll wait until (Friday). Get another day’s rest and take a look at it (Friday) hopefully." Favre has made 297 consecutive starts and obviously would like to reach the magical number of 300.

Favre will go in the first play, hand the ball off to Peterson, and sit for the rest of the game. The streak stays intact.

Unless he is suspended, unable to walk or retires, he will start every game until he's done... I mean for good.
