Bill Cowher, seemingly unable to escape questions about a potential return to coaching, acknowledged Thursday that a comeback is possible. "I'm open to listen to opportunities," Cowher told USATODAY. "I'm very comfortable at CBS. I'll keep all my options open. And I'll only answer those questions at the end of the season. I'm not going to comment on any hypothetical situations until the entire season is over."

Panthers job would be a snitch. I would think he'd like one involving less rebuilding.

"Return to the field"? Methinks his best playing days are behind him, and he wasn't that good of a linebacker to begin with.

He loves the gig he's got right now...it's going to take a great situation for him to leave the studio...

If the Panthers gave him full control, maybe...he'd be stupid not to listen to offers...

  6. I think he listens to offers.

I don't think he'd take the Panthers job either. It might ruin his reputation.

His wife died awhile ago so he may want to relax for awhile and enjoy time with his kids.

Houston's looking like a nice landing spot for Cowher.

Coaches with Full control don't usually work out so well. If he goes back...go coach and do what you did well.
