The Miami Herald is reporting that the Dolphins are unlikely to re-sign both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams this offseason, but that they will likely keep one of their long-time backs. The duo has failed to provide much explosiveness in 2010, and it is clearly time for the Dolphins to go searching for an upgrade. Brown is averaging just 3.8 yards per carry through 12 games, while Williams is averaging 4.5. Likely cheaper and seemingly more effective, Williams will probably end up being the back they keep. Ronnie Brown is expendable, keep Ricky he's a cheap option and draft a Burner type running back in the first or 2nd round.
