Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi – who made just a little bit of news Sunday by tripping Dolphins CB Nolan Carroll – did not offer his resignation today, but at a news conference in New York, he apologized profusely and said he would accept any punishment coming his way. The Jets have spoken. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets have suspended Alosi for the rest of the season, including the playoffs, and have fined him $25,000. The team hasn’t made a decision if Alosi will be on the sideline in 2011. "We felt it was appropriate for us to hold him accountable,†GM Mike Tannenbaum said, via Newsday’s Bob Glauber. “At the end of the day, this was our punishment." Source: CBS Sports
Just got off the phone with a buddy of mine and he has an interesting point. You don't want to piss this guy off when he knows who takes what and how much of it they do. Think about it.

I guess the sneaky knee thing turned me off the most. If he would have clotheslined the mofo, I would have respected that more.
