Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said Monday he hopes that Brett Favre has not played his last snap for his team. Frazier left Favre inactive in a 21-3 loss to the New York Giants on Monday, a move that snapped Favre's NFL record of 297 straight games started. Favre was unable to play because of a sprained right shoulder suffered in Week 13. Frazier said the plan is for Favre to be healthy enough to play again this year for the 5-8 Vikings. "Hopefully things will get better and we can get him back," Frazier said, "but just have to wait and see. I'd like to try and get him back if we can. But who knows." Source: USA Today
What point would that make? His great streak has ended, maybe that would be a hint that its time to call it quits...
29th ranked QB in the NFL with a rating in the 60's, 10 td's with 18 picks, and you want him back? WTF, that's like taking your wife back after she's been running around with other men, again. Cut the string, and go younger with both your wife and Farve.
Have you seen T-Jack play? T-Jack has a lower completion percentage, rating, and ypa, and still locks in on one receiver, then throws a jump pbutt. Wish we had Sage right about now, better than T-Jack, at least.
