The New York Jets announced that strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi's suspension has been changed to an indefinite suspension after the team learned Alosi instructed players to form a wall on the sidelines during a punt return. Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum discovered this after speaking with players on Tuesday, and that the team is looking at its previous games and that the NFL is now looking at the issue from a league-wide standpoint. Tannenbaum added that head coach Rex Ryan and special teams coach Mike Westhoff were not involved in the instruction of players to attempt to obstruct opposing team's gunners. The Jets suspended Alosi without pay for the remainder of the season, and fined him $25,000. With the Jets extending Alosi's suspension to an indefinite period of time, in all likelihood he will be terminated with cause, and could possibly face a lifetime ban from the NFL. That douchebag isn't sorry for one single second.....he needs to be banned. No one will ever hire him anyway.
I think roids scrambled this guy's brains. Just how do you expect to get away with that kind of crap in a televised game. The announcer spotted it right away, and they showed a replay. Now if what has been reported is true, he had the guys stand close to the sidelines, how could Ryan not see that. He had to know what was going on unless he's blind.
